Lance was referred to us by a close friend back in 2016. My wife and I had the pleasure of working closely with Lance for well over a year as we searched for, and ultimately found, our dream home and then sold our existing property in a tough Milwaukee sellers market.  Lance is not your typical realtor in all the right ways. He is knowledgeable, patient, responsive and authentic - more interested in helping his clients find the right home instead of high pressure sales for an quick commission. My wife and I had just finished completing career goals for ourselves, the next step in our life plan was getting a house for us and our five kids. Yes, five kids, ranging from 11 down to 1. Knowing this would be the home the kids would think about when they remembered their childhoods, this was going to be a very important decision. Lance helped my husband and I search for the perfect house. He truly helped make the process less stressful, as well as fun! He was extremely professional and his extensive knowledge for building construction was incredibly helpful. For example, at one house we looked at the contractors did not grade the garage properly so the floor was slightly tilted and Lance noticed it right away and then proceeded to bring out some of his tools to shows us since we couldn’t tell. He never made us feel rushed, in fact he encouraged us to look at some houses we didn’t pick out because they included some aspects we hadn’t seen before and he told us it was important for us to see so we could narrow down what we liked and know for sure what we didn’t like. He always responded in a timely matter and was easy to get a hold of. He was reachable through every step of the process and always kept us informed. Greetings home buyers (and sellers)

When we decided to find that one forever home, we needed someone who would research the market and inform us quickly so as not to miss that one home. Fortunately, family members knew such a person. We contacted  Lance Grimord and after discussing our preferences as to location, size of home and price, he went right to the computer and entered those parameters and we were soon given several homes that fit the criteria. What we learned was that houses were selling like Tamiflu during flu season. We got a call from Lance regarding a new listing and it was exactly what we wanted. He arranged a showing, wrote an offer, and our offer was acceped before anyone else saw the house. The critical element was his vast knowledge in the structural and mechanical aspects of a home. As a home building contractor, he saw the good and the bad in the houses. It was like having a home inspector and a real estate expert in one person. He negotiated a fair price, taking into account, all issues regarding any extra cost we might have to incur.  He is intelligent, hard working, and goes the extra mile.  Thanks Lance.

Being a first time home buyer, I was a little nervous about finding the right home. Luckily I had a friend who recommended Lance. He made the process much easier than I had anticipated. Any questions I had were answered quickly and efficiently. His contracting experience was very useful when looking at the structures of the homes. He was able to point out any issues that could be problematic for me. It was also helpful in  that it allowed him to point out the good things he saw in homes. I have been very happy with my first home and couldn't have been more pleased with Lance as my real estate agent. We first met Lance in 2014. We were living in Illinois and looking at houses in Wisconsin to be closer to our son. One house was Lance's home, and he was also the listing agent. While the house wasn't right for us we immediately liked Lance and asked him to be our agent. We told him we were not in a hurry and the house had to be exactly what we were looking for--close to our son in the city yet somewhat rural, private, quiet, and a ranch home. We looked at many homes over the next three years and Lance was always helpful and enthusiastic. He has worked in home construction and gave us valuable insight into possible problems with homes--in one case suggesting we not further consider a home that seemed right but had construction issues that we could not see. We eventually found the perfect home in 2017. Exactly what we wanted.

We never felt Lance was just after a sale, but wanted to make sure we found the right home. He was always available, truthful, and kept in contact when we were beginning to think we'd never find a home. He did a great job for us.
